PPC supports local YWCA and school children

Back to school season stretches throughout an entire summer, and there are students in your very own backyard that might need help getting the school supplies they need. And sometimes local teachers may struggle to adequately stock their classroom for a successful school year.

This summer, employees at PPC Lubricants’ Jonestown headquarters aimed to help. In partnership with other local companies, PPC created a back to school drive. Employees donated dozens of items to the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg. Donated items included items kids use every day, like art and writing supplies. Importantly, these items will now make their way to the littlest students, preschool and pre-kindergarten, in the greater Jonestown area.

This drive is one of many ways the PPC family supports causes in the local communities we serve, whether it’s at our Jonestown headquarters, Western PA, Warminster, or Baltimore-based facilities. From golf tournaments that support causes like Adopt a Platoon and the Wounded Warriors Project to support for Relay for Life, PPC prides itself on making an impact in our employees and customers’ communities.
