O&P Acquisition Announcement
I am pleased to announce that PPC Lubricants has acquired the Lubricants division of O&P Oil & Gas. O&P, A family owned and operated business, has provided quality petroleum products to Farmers, Commercial, Automotive and Industrial customers in Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania since 1923 from their home office in Andover and satellite facilities in Hubbard and Ashtabula Ohio. They are a heritage Shell, Pennzoil and Quaker State distributor and have flown those brands with pride. The sale of their lubricants division will allow them to focus their efforts and resources on their home heating oil and commercial fuels businesses.
This is an exciting opportunity for PPC in a growing area near the Utica Shale vein in eastern Ohio where we have been growing our natural gas business. Having a larger footprint in eastern Ohio will also give us greater flexibility and logistical solutions to servicing the Automotive, Commercial On and Off Road, Agriculture and Industrial markets in addition to our existing customer base while providing enhanced opportunities and resources to bring new business opportunities to PPC Lubricants.
